The use of steel is increasing in many industries due to the numerous flexible design possibilities.

As part of the flexible systems that cater to the most challenging of environments, the PRIMAX powder coatings have primers and top-coat which comply with international standards for corrosion, such as ISO12944.

Single layer protection – use the topcoat on its own when a moderate level of protection is required

Two layer protection – to achieve the highest level of protection against corrosion we recommend you use both primer and topcoat.

PPG SigmaCover 525

Now known as SigmaCover 555 a two-component, polyamide-cured anticorrosive, antifouling, water-resistant epoxy tie-coat ideal for underwater systems.

PPG SigmaCover 456 HS

A two component high solids polyamide cured recoatable zinc phosphate epoxy primer/coating for steel and concrete structures in atmospheric exposure. Curable in low temperatures down to -5°C (23°F).

PPG SigmaCover 435

A two-component, high-build, micaceous iron oxide-pigmented, polyamide-cured recoatable epoxy coating. Ideal for steel and concrete structures exposed to atmospheric land or marine conditions, and curable at low temperatures down to -10°C (14°F).

Colour: Light grey (9553-05), dark grey ( 9558-05), green (9441-05), aluminium (9590-05)
