What is NORSOK-M-501?
Originally developed in 1994 by the Norwegian petroleum industry, NORSOK standards are designed to ensure safety, durability, and cost-efficiency in oil and gas operations. NORSOK-M-501 specifically outlines coating systems for use in offshore structures and equipment.
These standards go beyond basic international regulations, offering a globally respected framework for protective coatings in extreme environments.
