This product has now been discontinued. May we suggest using PPG Sigmacover 350 LT as an alternative. PPG SigmaCover 900 is a two-component, solvent-free, amine-cured epoxy filler. Provides excellent adhesion to concrete and steel, with no shrinkage.

• Can be used to smoothen a rough substrate
• Good insulating properties for dielectric shielding of impressent current anodes of cathodic protection system

Recommended Uses

• Steel
• Concrete

Substrate Conditions

• Steel: blast cleaned to ISO-Sa21⁄2, blasting profile 75 – 100 μm (3.0 – 4.0 mils)
• Concrete: cleaned from grease, dust and loose particles, preferably blast cleaned
• Moisture content of concrete should be maximum 4 %
• Previous coat: surface should be sufficiently roughened if necessary
• Previous suitable coat must be dry and free from any contamination

Substrate Temperature and Application Conditions

Application

• By means of a putty knife (avoid inclusion of air)
• Sandpapering possible after 24 hours

Cleaning Solvent

PPG Thinner 90-83 (preferred) or PPG Thinner 90-53  

Colour and Finish

Colour: Grey (base: offwhite, hardener: black) Finish: Gloss  

Safety Precautions

• For paint and recommended thinners see Information Sheets 1430, 1431 and relevant Material Safety Data Sheets
• Although this is a solvent-free product, care should be taken to avoid inhalation as well as contact between the product and exposed skin or eyes
