Jotacote F60 6A

This is a two component polyamide cured pure epoxy coating. It is specially designed as an outfitting primer where optimum adhesion to a wide range of surfaces is required. Can be used as primer, mid coat, finish coat or as single coat system in atmospheric and immersed environments. Can be used in Water Ballast Tanks as a holding primer as part of relevant systems approved according to PSPC IMO Res. MSC 215(82). Suitable for properly prepared carbon steel, shop primed steel, stainless steel, aluminium, galvanised steel, glass fibre reinforced polyester and thermally sprayed zinc surfaces.

Exterior and interior areas, including outside hulls, superstructures, decks and water ballast tanks.

Certified in accordance with IMO Res.215(82) – PSPC Water Ballast Tanks

When used as part of an approved scheme, this material has the following certification:

• Low Flame Spread in accordance with EU Directive for Marine Equipment. Approved in accordance with parts 5 and 2 of Annex 1 of IMO 2010 FTP Code, or Parts 5 and 2 of Annex 1 of IMO FTPC when in compliance with IMO 2010 FTP Code Ch. 8
