Rust-Oleum Noxyde

Rust-Oleum Noxyde is a single pack, high performance water-based elastomeric coating with unequaled corrosion protection.

Pack Sizes: 5 kg and 20 kg.  

Description

Single pack water-based elastomeric coating with unequaled corrosion protection, up to 20 years in the highest corrosion class C5-M, according to ISO 12944.  

Product Characteristics

  • 200% elastic coating that doesn’t crack or peel.
  • Dry fall product; means that the overspray turns to dust before hitting the ground.
  • Primer and topcoat in one.
  • U.V and impact-resistant.
  • Typical 2-coat system.
  • No mixing or induction time.
  • Re-use leftover paint.
  • Kinder to the environment over similar solvent based coatings.
  • Simply put the gun in water during breaks.

 

Recommended Uses

Best used on iron, steel, special alloys, galvanised and metallised iron, steel, aluminium, copper, zinc, lead, plastisol steel structures, cut edge corrosion, structural steel, metal cladding and plastisol roof sheets, commercial units, barns, etc. Noxyde can even be diluted with 25% water to be used as an adhesion primer coat for only slightly and even non-porous surfaces such as glass, smooth bricks, polished-concrete and ceramics.

Application

  • Brush
  • Roller
  • Airless spray

Temperatures should be between 8°C and 55°C whilst theNoxyde is being applied. After approximately an hour and a half the paint will be touch dry and suitable to re coat after 24 hours.

Additional Supporting Product

Noxyde Tape is a self-adhesive tape made of a butyl rubber compound protected by a Fleece in Polypropylene. Designed to work for edge laps when applying Rust-Oleum Noxyde systems to roofs and cladding.
